The program is designed to develop students into well-rounded professionals who possess a solid foundation in core business concepts, critical thinking abilities, ethical decision-making skills, effective communication practices, and the capacity to seamlessly transition into professional organizational settings, both during and after Curry.

Students with a major in Finance will have the ability to:

  1.  Apply core financial concepts to evaluate financial information.
  2. Describe the structure of the financial markets and the roles of institutions in those markets.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in using financial modeling tools and statistical methods to solve business problems.
  4. Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to various audiences.
  5. Assess ethical issues in financial practices and uphold professional standards.

The minimum laptop requirements for our majors are:

  • Windows 10 or 11 operating system
  • Minimum 64-bit Intel I-7 or 64-bit AMD Ryzen 7
  • Minimum quad core processor
  • Minimum 8 GB memory
  • Minimum 500 GB internal storage

NOTE: MacBooks and Chromebooks do not qualify.
