Internship Prerequisites include:

  • Cumulative minimum GPA of 2.50
  • Sophomore status (30+ credits)

To start the process, log in to the myCurry portal and visit the Internship Program tab under 'Career & Experiential Learning'. Please utilize the Curry College Internship Site Guide for additional information regarding requirements, roles, and responsibilities.

Students are not limited to the opportunities sponsored by Career & Experiential Learning and are free to research additional internships on their own. All employer sites must meet specific criteria in order to host an intern from Curry College. The following are the requirements/qualifications of a site:

  • Define intern role and responsibilities for specific projects and assignments
  • Provide students with an appropriate workspace and resources
  • Provide training and support throughout the semester
  • Identify an on-site supervisor for each intern

Please utilize the Curry College Internship Site Guide for additional information regarding requirements, roles, and responsibilities.

Students can earn credits depending upon the number of hours that they work. Internship employers have the option to determine whether the internship opportunity is eligible for compensation (this is not a requirement).

*Curry College does not require that Internship Sites pay student interns. For-profit internship sites should review the Department of Labor's legal criteria for determining whether an internship needs to be a paid experience.
