Make an AppointmentCareer & Experiential Learning strives to produce meaningful and effective career events for our students and alumni. Events range from small employer info sessions and alumni success panels to larger opportunities like workshops and job and internship fairs.
The Career & Internship Fair connects students to job and internship opportunities. Undergraduate students as well as graduating seniors attend this event to speak individually with recruiters and company representatives about job and internship opportunities. This event occurs annually during the spring semester.
In the fall semester, Career & Experiential Learning hosts a career preparation event that caters to all students. This event prepares students to network and interview for jobs and internships.
In addition to large campus-wide events, Career & Experiential Learning also hosts a variety of smaller events for specific majors, student populations, or industries. Past events have included: Former Student-Athlete Panel, Career Launching Workshops for Women, Graduate School Workshops, Employer Information Sessions, Job Spot Employer Tablings, Study Abroad Provider Info Tables, LinkedIn headshot sessions, and Study Abroad Day.
While many seniors may begin their final year of college with trepidation about the future ahead, Business Administration major Patrick Parsons '23 is heading into his final stretch with confidence. After a successful stint as a Project Coordinator Intern with Granite Telecommunications in the spring of 2022, Parsons was offered a full-time job.
Not only do Curry students have endless internship opportunities in the Boston market, but we also offer study away programs in D.C., L.A., and N.Y.C. Our interns have worked at places like Universal Pictures, "Jimmy Kimmel Live", CBS News, NBC Olympics, and The Washington Post, to name a few.
