As you continue to plan for the beginning of your Curry journey this fall, we are excited to offer you a 'head start' this summer. These Early Enrollment Benefits will help you acclimate to Curry, support your transition to college, and help you foster connections with those who will positively impact your experience.

Introduction to Psychology is an introductory course concerned with the methods and principles of psychology. Major emphasis is placed upon the theoretical aspects of psychology. Topics include research methods, perceptions, basic learning processes, memory and cognition, the biological basis of behavior, motivation, personality and individual differences, abnormal behavior and its treatment, and social influence processes.
This course fills a requirement for the following majors:

Register by June 30 for Introduction to Psychology, which runs online in an asynchronous format (unless otherwise noted) from the week of July 8 through August 24. Space in the class is limited, offered on a first-come-first-served basis, and will close when all seats are filled.
Your Summer Online Course is free of charge; however, we do require a non-refundable $250 course deposit which will be credited to your fall tuition charges (credits will be applied around October 1).

Once you have completed the registration, you will receive an email with step-by-step details for submitting your $250 Summer Course deposit. As previously noted, the deposit will be applied to your Fall 2024 semester charges as a tuition credit after successful completion of your Summer Online Course and after the fall semester Add/Drop period has ended (approximately October 1). The deposit is non-refundable if you withdraw from the course or the College. You will not be fully registered for the class until we receive your deposit.
Additional information on your course will be emailed to you a week or two in advance of your class start. Please note, all email correspondence regarding your summer class will be sent to your Curry College email address.
To be considered for a single room in a first-year residence hall, you will do so on your '2024 First-Year Housing Application,' which you will access through your New Student Checklist. If you haven’t already done so, please access your myCurry Portal, then:
Priority consideration will be given to students who completed their enrollment by May 1st and qualify for the Early Enrollment Benefits.
First-year resident students are eligible to purchase an on campus parking pass for $250 while availability lasts. Commuter students are eligible to purchase an on campus parking pass regardless of their early enrollment status and need not submit a request.
