Academic ExcellenceAt Curry College, we connect our students to experiential learning opportunities, clinical and field placements, internships, and post-graduate jobs at leading businesses and organizations—Connectors—who are looking for the skills, knowledge, and drive that our students are ready to put into action.
Our Connectors are our partners who are seeking to develop a diverse workforce pipeline and who are also interested in supporting and participating in industry-relevant academic programming such as mentorships, class visits, class consulting projects, networking events, or career fairs.
We also actively seek feedback and learn from our Connectors regarding the career readiness skills and academic and co-curricular programming their workforce needs.
Located just seven miles from downtown Boston, Curry College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts-based institution in Milton. We offer 26 undergraduate majors in specialized and liberal arts programs, as well as graduate degrees in accounting, business, education, criminal justice, and nursing. Our students receive a high-quality education that includes the breadth of skills needed to succeed in any career.
Our undergraduate student body of 1,800 students is diverse—30% are students of color, 29% are first generation college students, and 27% are NCAA Division III student athletes. Seventeen percent of our students participate in the Program for Advancement in Learning (PAL), our internationally recognized program that provides academically focused, research-based, and individual instruction to students with diagnosed learning differences. The majority of our students are from Massachusetts and the New England area, with many looking to stay in the region after they graduate.
Our size means our students learn in small, classroom and lab settings with a 12:1 student-faculty ratio. We provide individualized learning in a caring and supportive environment. This customized experience extends to our relationships with employers who hire our students for internships, clinicals, and jobs.
