The Curry College Health Center is staffed by board certified Nurse Practitioners, a Health Services Director, a Certified Medical Assistant, and a Consulting Physician.
Dr. Nathaniel Brown, MD is an internal medicine specialist in Randolph, MA and has over 31 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1992. He is affiliated with medical facilities such as, Tufts Medical Center, Melrose Wakefield Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton. Dr. Brown has been the Curry College Health Center supervising physician since 2013.
Kathy Joyce is a Registered Nurse with 30+ years of experience in Public Health Nursing. Kathy’s experience includes cardiac and post-operative care, elementary and secondary school health nursing. Kathy worked as an elementary and high school nurse for over 12 years. Kathy joined the Curry College Health Center staff in 2019 as a COVID-19 nurse, transitioning to COVID-19 Coordinator and then to Director of Health Services. Kathy is a Curry College Alumna from the Class of 1992.
Courtney Nixon is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with 25 years of experience. Courtney’s experience includes primary care, adolescent care, and college health. Courtney has focused on college health for the past six years working at the University of Oregon as well as at UMass Amherst. Courtney joined the Curry College Health Center staff in 2024.
Lauren Terzo is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in nursing. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Rutgers University, a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary, and a Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Regis College. Lauren has worked in a variety of clinical settings with diverse populations including academic medical centers, outpatient clinics, and community health. Lauren joined the Curry College Health Center staff as a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner in 2023.
Brittany is a Certified Medical Assistant with over ten years of experience. She joined the Curry College Health Center staff in 2022.
