Academic ExcellenceJennifer (Jen/Jenny) Cole Neville has an MLIS in library science and an Archival Certificate from the University of Mississippi. In addition, she holds an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College and an MA in literature from New Mexico State University. Her research and creative writing center around the treatment of people who inhabit various subcultures and how acceptance within the subculture serves to offset the cultural disapproval visited upon them from the outside.
At Levin Library, Jen enjoys working with students and faculty. She serves as a Reference Librarian, answering questions, helping with research, and working on citations. She is also an Instruction Librarian, who supports the Levin Library Information Literacy effort by teaching classes about research, citation, keywords, and more. Jen has a vested interest in the library MakerSpace and looks forward to learning how to use different maker machines, exploring other maker activities, and supporting students and faculty in the space.
