Join us for Curry Creates: A Safe Place to Land, the Department of Visual and Performing Arts’ annual spring arts weekend celebrating the joy and solidarity we find in our Curry College community. Featuring Student Art & Design Exhibits and Storm/Shelter, a performance featuring dancers, singers, and studio artists evoking the search for safe harbor in a time of struggle. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to witness Curry artists at their best! Other highlights include Curry College at the Menino Arts Center, an exhibition showcasing Curry students, faculty, and alumni works; The Final Crit, the Senior Design and Studio Arts Exhibition; and the Visual & Performing Arts Honors and Shine Award Ceremony.

Storm/Shelter showcases the talents of studio artists, singers, and dancers from the Department of Visual & Performing Arts in an immersive performance that invites the audience on a transformative journey through the elements. Tested by fire, wind, and water, Curry artists explore the search for safety, and create a vibrant sanctuary for themselves and their communities in the process.
