Curry College is pleased to offer a 10% tuition discount when two candidates from the same school district enroll in the Principal/Supervisor Licensure Program. A 20% tuition discount will be provided when three or more candidates from the same school district enroll in the PSL Program.

One-Year Intensive Licensure Program
Our program provides 550-hour Pre-practicum/Practicum supported by relevant coursework. Course assignments will require candidates to assume specific responsibilities in the school where they work as part of the Practicum. These performance assessments are aligned to the MA Professional Standards and Indicators for Administrative Leadership, to ensure that theory and practice are aligned.
Convenient Online Schedule
Classes are scheduled one evening a week and are delivered in a synchronous online format to best meet the needs of busy professionals.
State-Approved Program
Curry's Principal and Supervisor Licensure Program has been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Evidence of DESE SEI Endorsement (completion of the Curry College SEI course will be required if endorsement has not been completed by the start of the first semester)
Schedule:
Cohorts begin in January and July and courses and practicum are completed within one year.
The Curry College Principal Licensure Program combines theory and practice through its practicum-linked assignments in the following 3 credit courses:

EDL 7020: Data Driven Inquiry to Improve Teaching and Learning
EDL 7030: Creating Equitable Systems in Managing Human Resources
EDL 7040: Building Effective Partnerships through Family and Community Engagement
EDL 7050: Education Policy, Ethics and Finance
EDL 7060: Sheltered English Immersion*
*Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement Course for Administrators will be available for students who do not already possess the Endorsement.

What is Cohort Study?
As a student in the Curry College PSL Program, you will be part of a cohort group. This means that the same students will be in all of your classes for the entire program, start to finish. Cohort group learning has proven to be very effective for adult learners because it creates a community of professionals who can study together, provide support, discuss common on-the-job problems, and offer networking opportunities.
